Terms & Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you — the restaurant, hotel or other venue subscribing to the service — and TK-TechKnow LLC, operating from City Center Plaza, Third Floor, Karan Nagar, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir 190010, India (“GuestSide”, “we”, “us”).

They apply from the moment you accept a subscription, whether arranged over the phone, on WhatsApp, in person or through this website.

A hosted, multi-tenant platform that turns an NFC tag or QR code at your table or in your room into an ordering and service app carrying your branding, plus an admin dashboard for your staff. Your subscription includes:

• Your own branding — colours, fonts, logo, cover image and layout
• Unlimited menu, price, photo, offer and catalogue edits
• The live order and request board
• NFC tags for the tables or rooms in your plan, with a QR fallback on every tag
• Guest feedback collection
• Platform updates, delivered without anyone reinstalling anything

We provide the software. We do not cook, serve, deliver or sell anything to your guests.

Everything the guest actually receives, and everything you publish. Specifically:

• Accuracy of your menu — prices, descriptions, portion sizes, availability, and any veg, non-veg or allergen marking. We display exactly what you enter
• Food safety and licensing — FSSAI registration, hygiene, and every permit your business needs
• Tax — setting the correct GST and service-charge rates, issuing invoices, and filing your own returns. The platform computes totals from the rates you configure
• Fulfilling orders — preparing, serving and delivering what your guests order, and honouring the prices shown
• Your content — holding the rights to every photograph, logo and description you upload
• Your staff accounts — who has one, what they can do, and removing people who leave
• The tags — keeping them in place and undamaged, and telling us if one is removed or tampered with so its link can be rotated

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, per venue, in Indian rupees. The plan you choose sets the number of tables or rooms covered. A one-time setup fee of ₹199 covers tags, the initial menu build and staff training.

We take no commission on what your guests spend. Your revenue is yours.

If you outgrow your plan’s table count, we will move you to the next tier from the following billing month. We will give you 30 days’ notice in writing before changing published prices, and the change never applies to a month already paid for.

There is no contract and no lock-in — you may cancel any month. How notice, part-months and the setup fee are treated is set out in full in our Cancellation & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside typical service hours wherever we can.

Your menu keeps working on a guest’s phone in more conditions than you might expect, but the service does require the guest to have a working internet connection.

• Do not use GuestSide to sell anything you are not licensed to sell
• Do not upload content you do not own, or anything unlawful, misleading or obscene
• Do not attempt to access another venue’s workspace, probe the platform’s security, or automate requests against it
• Do not resell or white-label the platform to other venues without a written agreement with us

Your menu, your branding, your catalogue and your order history remain yours. We hold them to run the service for you and process guest data on your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy.

On request at any time, including after you leave, we will export your menu and order records in a machine-readable format.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue or lost goodwill.

We are not liable for what you serve. Claims about food, allergens, service or pricing sit with you, since those are yours to control and ours only to display.

We may suspend an account for non-payment after written notice, or immediately where use breaches the acceptable-use section above or puts the platform or other venues at risk. We will tell you why, and what has to change to restore it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
